What to Expect

A DOT exam is a simple and hassle-free three-step process that involves taking the drivers medical history, performing the exam, and filling out all the necessary paperwork.

Step 1: Medical History

As the organizer of your Exam Event, you will be sent a link ahead of time to distribute to your drivers so they can complete the paperwork before the exam. Additionally, a checklist will be included to ensure your drivers bring all necessary documentation. No need to print anything, we will take care of all of that. If you do have late entries or drivers who are unable to complete the paperwork online, we will have manual copies for the event.

Step 2: Physical Exam

We will need a room or a discreet area to perform the exam. Please plan for this to ensure your employees' medical confidentiality can be maintained.

  1. Review driver's medical history

  2. Take blood pressure and pulse

  3. Check breathing and heart

  4. Examine eyes and ears

  5. Test range of motion and reflexes

Step 3: Urine Analysis

We will need a restroom/bathroom/locker room available so the driver's can submit a urine sample. We are looking for simple health factors, such as liver, kidney, and glucose markers.

  1. Basic urinalysis. This is not a drug test!

Step 4: We complete your paperwork. Photo ID required

Each driver will receive their laminated FMCSA medical certificate at the end of their exam, and all paperwork will be completed and filed that same day. We will even ensure CDL drivers are properly submitted to the State their licenses are issued from.

On-Site exams are $100/driver for 3-5 drivers and $85/driver for 6-or-more drivers
